Mare Milin

I was born in the city of Zadar, Croatia, on the coast. I attended primary and high school in my hometown, then went to university in Zagreb in 1992., to study product design. During my studies I had an encounter with the media of photography and it changed my life and professional direction, for good.
Since 1994. I have worked as a photographer in theatres, on various dance and theatrical projects, I shoot lifestyle, portrait and fashion photography for (glossy) magazines and periodicals, and also in the field of marketing and advertising.
I also work for book publishing and discography houses, and along with that direct and work as cinematographer on music videos.
In my free time I like to take photographic notes from the world that surrounds me, and exhibit these notes. Since 2000. I have been a member of ULUPUH (Croatian Association of Applied Arts), and since 2006. I have been a member of HZSU (Croatian Association of Freelance Artists).
I will take photographs as long as I feel, live and breathe.
